Privacy Policy

This policy explains how GetDefined handles your personal data. The data controller is Code & Beans AB, Västanäsgatan 6, 942 34 Älvsbyn, Sweden. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact hello@getdefined.app.

Data we collect

  • Your email address, when you unlock your week or create an account.
  • Your answers in the chat with Coach Amy.
  • The niche profile and content we generate for you.
  • Your posting activity (which days you mark as posted).
  • Subscription and billing metadata (held by Stripe; we never see your card details).

How we use it

We use your chat answers to generate your niche profile and weekly content, store your results so you can return to them, send you the daily content emails you opted into, and operate the paid subscription.

Legal bases (GDPR)

We process your data to perform our contract with you (delivering the service), on the basis of your consent (the daily emails, which you can withdraw at any time, and the optional analytics and advertising cookies described below), and for our legitimate interests in running and improving GetDefined.

Processors we share data with

  • Supabase — authentication and database.
  • Resend — sending your daily content emails.
  • Stripe — subscription payments.
  • Anthropic — generating your niche and content. Your data is not used to train their models.
  • Vercel — hosting the application.
  • Google — analytics (Google Analytics), only with your consent.
  • Meta — advertising measurement (Meta Pixel), only with your consent.
  • Microsoft — usage analytics and session recordings (Clarity), only with your consent.

Cookies and analytics

We set first-party cookies that are strictly necessary to run the service: keeping you signed in and remembering your cookie choice. These load without consent.

With your consent, we also use three optional tools: Google Analytics (how the site is used), Meta Pixel (measuring our Instagram and Facebook ads), and Microsoft Clarity (anonymised session recordings and heatmaps that show us where people get stuck). None of them load until you accept them in the cookie banner, and declining does not change how GetDefined works.

Your choice is stored in a cookie for 12 months. If you withdraw consent, we stop loading these tools and remove their cookies.

Retention

We keep your account and generated content while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your data at any time and we will erase it, subject to any records we must retain by law.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@getdefined.app. You can stop the daily emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, without losing access to your account. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
